Makeyenko: Collection of signatures for extraordinary session continues

Collection of signatures for holding the extraordinary session of the Verkhovna Rada continues, MP from the Party of Regions Volodymyr Makeyenko told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.

"This is an extraordinary session, and according to the law on the regulation, it is necessary to collect 150 signatures. This process continues," he said.

Makeyenko also explained why the Parliament plans to meet on January 28 but not earlier.

"Deputies are on vacations, and to ensure the maximum number of people at the session hall it was decided to hold a session on Tuesday," the MP said.

According to him, the agenda is being developed, but it is already known that the situation in the country will be primarily discussed.

Replying to a question whether he would vote for the Cabinet’s resignation, Makeyenko said: "I will vote as the faction does."
