Interior Ministry: Two men die in Hrushevsky Street clashes

The Interior Ministry has not confirmed the information about the third dead man in clashes in Hrushevsky Street and denies the use of firearms by police officers.

"The cause of death of two people is being established. The investigative team and forensic expert are working on the scene to establish the time of death, the nature of injury, and the cause of death. I stress that the police carries out protection of public order with no weapons at such events, and Hrushevsky Street is no exception," spokesman for Interior Ministry Serhiy Burlakov told ForUm correspondent.

He again appealed to residents and guests of Kyiv to refrain from participation in public events in Hrushevsky Street due to high probability of serious injuries on part of violent offenders.
