Azarov requires thorough investigation in Hrushevsky Street events

Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov offered condolences for the victims during the confrontation in Hrushevsky Street in Kyiv and required a thorough investigation, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the Premier, the organizers and participants of confrontations are responsible for the riot victims.

"Being the Prime Minister of Ukraine, I officially declare that the organizers and certain participants in the riots are responsible for these victims.  I demand that the law enforcement agencies carefully and resolutely investigate into this crime, and, most importantly, do everything possible to prevent this in future," he said.

The PM added that the accusations against law enforcement officials were unfounded, "as policemen in Hrushevsky Street have no firearms".

He once again stated that the opposition leaders incited people to escalate the conflict. At the same time, according to Azarov, instigators will hide behind parliamentary immunity, and ordinary people will find themselves in a difficult situation.
