The rapists of Oksana Makar changing their testimonies

The rapists of Oksana Makar changing their testimonies

Two of three rapists of Oksana Makar Maxim Prysiazhniuk and Artem Pogosian have changed their testimonies and expressed disagreement with charges of murder, blaming the murder on the third accused Evhen Krasnoshchiok.

According to the defense lawyer of Maxim Prysiazhniuk, his defendant claimed during the trial that it was Krasnoshchiok who smothered the girl and then raped her again. Later, when they were bringing the girl down to the basement, Maxim claimed that he and Artem were sure Oksana was already dead. Hence, they both disagree with charges of murder. Prysiazhniuk also declared that the sex with Oksana was on mutual consent.

At the next hearing, scheduled to June 26, the court will listen to the testimonies of Evhen Krasnoshchiok. The hearing will be closed to public.
