Yanukovych warns quiet times in Crimea are over. Time to work


Speaking at the meeting with regional officials of Crimea, President Viktor Yanukovych has warned those newly appointed that "quiet" time for them is over, since the implementation of fundamental reforms in all sectors shall be started as soon as possible.

The President emphasized that he would strictly control the conduct of these reforms and their results.

Viktor Yanukovych has also noted that the financial situation in Ukraine is very difficult. “The situation we inherited does not allow making a quick good start. However, we won’t sit idly, but begin to work", said the President. 

Among pressing state priorities Viktor Yanukovych named the development and implementation of urgent measures to overcome the financial and economic recession.
