Expert: Tymoshenko made a strong opposition move

Political analyst Viktor Nebozhenko believes Yulia Tymoshenko’s appeal to political forces dissatisfied with the new government to unite on the local level is strong and promising.

"Tymoshenko can most effectively take advantage of the government’s difficulties resulting from being forced to make unpopular decisions to overcome the effects of the economic crisis," Viktor Nebozhenko said in an interview with Deutsche Welle.

As reported, Yulia Tymoshenko recently urged democratic forces on the local level to hold extraordinary sessions and announce their move into opposition against the Viktor Yanukovych government.

She believes the main goal today is to create a united opposition not only in parliament, but throughout Ukraine.
