Crimean parliament dismissed speaker and premier and elected new candidates

The Crimean Verkhovna Rada satisfied an application from Anatoliy Hrytsenko on his resignation from the post of the Crimean Parliament Chairman.

The parliamentarians also satisfied an application about resignation of Chairman of the Crimean Cabinet of Ministers Viktor Plakida.

In addition, the deputies relieved Hrihoriy Ioffe of his post of First Deputy Speaker according to an application submitted by him.

Volodymyr Kostiantynov has been elected chairman of the Crimean parliament.

Kostiantynov, 53, is the head of the faction of the Bloc for Yanukovych in the Crimean parliament. He headed UkrRosBud Corporation by March 5, 2010.

Regions Party deputy head Vasyl Dzharty was elected chairman of the Crimean prime minister.
