Minimum wages to be increased in 2010


 The minimum wage in Ukraine in 2010 will be UAH 888 (USD 1/UAH 7.98), Press Secretary of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov Vitaliy Lukianchenko told journalists today.

"According to calculations that are possible to be made public, the minimum wages will make up UAH 888," he said.

In 2009, the Cabinet set the minimum wage rate since January 1 at UAH 605, since April 1 - UAH 625, since July 1 - UAH 630, since October 1 - UAH 650 and since December 1, 2009 - UAH 669.
