Yatsenyuk refused Yanukovych's offer

President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych declares that during a meeting with the leader of "Front of changes" Arseniy Yatsenyuk he offered him a post in the future government, but Yatsenyuk declined the offer and announced an intention to go in opposition.

"I offered Arseniy Yatsenyuk a high post in the future government, which will be formed soon hopefully. But Arseniy Petrovych refused and expressed an assurance that he should go in opposition," Yanukovych said after the meeting with Yatsenyuk.

«Я надеюсь, что это будет конструктивная оппозиция, которая не будет разрушать страну», - добавил Янукович, которого цитирует «Интерфакс-Украина».

"I hope it will be a constructive opposition, which won't be destroying the country," Yanukovych added.
