Access opened to information about corrupt legal entities

The Cabinet of Ministers resolution has entered into force approving the procedure for collecting and releasing information about legal entities prosecuted for corruption. The document was signed by Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko on December 8, 2009, according to Tymoshenko's website.

After the Government Anti-Corruption Commissioner received an electronic copy of the court rulings, they will be posted on the Cabinet of Ministers website within three days in order to provide government bodies and the public with free access to information.

The information is to be recorded and stored in the office of the Government Anti-Corruption Commissioner in accordance with the regulations for documents and records documents in the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers.
