Ukrainians against introduction of vaccination certificates, says poll

Ukrainian citizens are against the introduction of vaccination certificates, according to a phone interview conducted by Kyiv's Gorshenin Institute of Management Issues, UKRINFORM reported.

Most of those polled (61.5%) have negative feelings about the fact that the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law approving the national program on the immunologic prophylaxis and protection of people from infectious diseases in 2009-2015, which obliges them to undergo vaccination.

Some 48.4% of respondents described this law "very negatively" and 13.1% "rather negatively."

Less than a fourth of respondents (24.3%) failed to express their views on this issue.

The overwhelming majority of citizens (82.9%) slammed the parliament's decision to adopt a law foreseeing that kindergartens and schools won't accept children without vaccination certificates.
