Naftogaz ready to pay for Russian gas timely

Zemlianskyi did not reject that the company really had some problems with accumulation of funds for payments to Gazprom, since quite not all Ukrainian consumers have settled their accounts with Naftogaz. 

Ukraine's payment for Russian gas supplies in October was very difficult to make, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said on Friday in a statement confirming that state energy firm Naftogaz has settled its bill on time. "The prime minister stated that it (the gas payment) was extremely difficult to carry out," Tymoshenko's office said, referring to comments she made during a trip to eastern Ukraine

As reported, the general indebtedness of all consumers to Naftogaz, in the first place municipal heat companies, totals UAH 7 billion.
