International Monetary Fund warns of possible shortening of financial assistane to Ukraine


In the opinion of the IMF officials, Ukraine's economy has suffered a dramatic decline due to the recession and now it loses "a correct way" by making populist decisions to raise social standards.

This statement was aired following President Yushchenko's inking the law on raising the social standards notwithstanding the IMF warnings and the Prime Minister's negative reaction, NRCU reported.
