Slovakia closes borders with Ukraine due to epidemic of swine flu


Slovakia closes two of its five border checkpoints with Ukraine due to epidemic of swine flu, accordig to "Novosti" agency with referrence to Slovak Home Affairs minister Robert Kalinak. According to the minister, thousands of people are daily crossing "Velke Slementse", "Mali Selmentsi" as well as "Ubla" and "Maly Berezny" check points.

"If the flu epidemic in Ukraine further spreads Slovakia will have to close the remaining three border check points", the minister noted.
