Jazz festival to take place in Kyiv

On October 16-18, 2009 the second international jazz festival will take place in Kyiv. During three days of the festival the performances of six jazz bands will be presented. ForUm’s correspondent informs.

Among the participants of the festivals there are such jazz bands expected to the festival: "Bester Quartet", "Mike Stern Band”, "Схід-Side", “Vnochi” Vakarchuk’s project, "Steve Gadd and Friends", "Spyro Gyra".

In scope of the festival guests of the festival will be able to attend master-classes of well-known jazzmen and after party and evenings of jazz cinematography. Apart from this contest of jazz photography is planned.
