Yushchenko sees success on way to Europe and insists on friendly relations with Russia


President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko sees significant success of Ukraine on the way to democratization and entering into the European area for last five years. The President said that today in the parliament during his annual speech, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

According to the President, we will achieve European and Euro Atlantic aim as it is in the interests of Ukraine.

Yushchenko said that today’s foreign policy condition of Ukraine is too complicated and Ukraine must adhere to International norms and obligations and also must hold balanced international policy and stands for its national interests.

At the same time Viktor Yushchenko stands for maximum improvement of the relations with Russia.

"I call for the maximum improvement of relations with Russia," the President said.
