11 new gas stations on Russia, Belarus borders will cost USD 448

The construction of 11 commercial (duplicating) stations on Ukraine's state border with Russia and Belarus will take USD 448 million.

This estimation was made in the master plan drafted by Ukrtransgaz for the international conference on modernization of Ukraine's gas transportation system, which was in session in Brussels Monday, UKRINFORM reported.

The stations will account the spending and control the quality of the natural gas coming in the customs territory of Ukraine.

Particularly, it is planned to build nine stations on the border with Russia, and two on the border with Belarus.

To finance the project, it is necessary to invest USD 3.5 million in the first year, USD 36.1 million in the second, USD 92.6 million in the third, USD 207.6 million in the fourth, and USD 108.2 million in the fifth.
