Ukrainians wishing to have censorship at mass media


Results of the studies carried out by the Kyiv Horshenin Administration Problems Institute have shown that over a half of respondents believes that freedom of speech exists in Ukraine (55.2 percent), National radio reported.

At the same time, the majority notes that the country needs a censorship at mass communication media (59.1 percent). The matter concerns both, lack of responsibility for information presented by mass communication media under conditions of freedom of speech and abundance of scenes of violence and cruelty, as well as propaganda of a criminal mode of life. The mentioned problems available in mass communication media, according to respondents, should be subject to censors.
