Dismissed Foreign Minister appointed deputy head of NSDC


Former Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko, dismised from his post by the parliament, has been appointed a deputy head of the National Security and Defene Council. Press office of the president informed ForUm.
 
The relevant decree has been signed by the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko.

As a reminder, on March 3 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dismissed Volodymyr Ohryzko from the post of the Foreign Minister of Ukraine. 250 MPs, namely 174 of the Party of Regions, 49 of BYuT and 27 of the Communist party, voted for the dismissal. Deputies welcomed the dimissal with applauses and “Hooray”.

Before the voting the parliament lsitened to the report of the Minister on the decision of the Internationa UN court on Serpent Island and its territories.
