Ukraine's Speaker says impeachment impossible

Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn considers it impossible to effectuate impeachment procedure against President until regular presidential elections, National radio reported.

He believes that political talks around this issue are linked with an attempt to find those responsible for the situation in the country in order to distract attention of society from own faults.

As reported, leader of the oppositional Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovych expressed himself in favour of pre-term parliamentary and presidential elections. Today Mr Yanukovych told the press that the Party of Regions would start collecting signatures upon the procedure of President's impeachment as soon as legal grounds appear for that.
