Tymoshenko suggests to award enterprises for using alternative energy sources

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko proposes to exempt for ten years from income tax, VAT and excise duties the activity of enterprises joined to use of alternative renewable energy sources. Yulia Tymoshenko suggested on Wednesday during the special session of Government devoted to investment projects in energy-saving domain.

“We should give full tax vacations for ten years for the kind of activity, but not for the enterprise, which is connected to use of renewable energy sources,” Yulia Tymoshenko advised.

The Premier is convinced reducing of taxes will enable to intensify the development of renewable energy sources in Ukraine and economics in whole, as it will contribute to creating new workplaces and, respectively, incomes to the State Budget.
