Tymoshenko: Government to hold privatization on higher terms


The government would approach the privatization process “very and very deliberately and thoroughly, nothing will be done in a hurry,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko told a press conference and added the government will thoroughly hold consultations with potential purchasers.  

“Now the whole world experiences crisis. So, the government will determine very high initial terms for launching privatization and for consultations with all potential participants of privatization processes,” Tymoshenko said.

The Prime Minister also pointed out that privatization of a number of energy companies and Ukrtelecom public corporation would be held on the assumption of worthy price and reputation of potential purchasers.
