Tymoshenko: Government is ready to report to Parliament

Tymoshenko: Government is ready to report to Parliament

The Government is ready to report to the Parliament about its activity at any moment. Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko stated at a briefing in Parliament today.

“The Government has come with its full complement to the Parliament and is ready for hearing of the issue on dismissal at any moment,” Yulia Tymoshenko stated.

At the same time the Prime Minister said that putting a question about the Cabinet’s dismissal makes no sense, as it is a “political game”, “From the very beginning the question about the Cabinet’s dismissal was unreasonable. Even if the Cabinet’s dismissal to be voted, de jure and de facto the Government does not resign, according to the Constitution, it continues to work as acting Cabinet, until the new coalition is formed and the new Cabinet is elected,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.

The Prime Minister noted, by such actions the opposition longs to destabilize the situation in the Parliament, economy, financial sphere and Ukraine on the whole.

“The fact that Party of Regions blocks the rostrum today, preventing the hearing of the issue on Cabinet’s dismissal, proves the chaos in this political force, the absence of logic. We are very astonished at such actions,” the Head of Government stated.

According to the Prime Minister, the Government had proposed to hear this issue on Wednesday but this proposal was rejected, “If you have initiated the Cabinet’s dismissal, so you should have common masculine and political courage to hear and not to put nappies on during such hearings”.
