Within the
framework of his working visit to Poland, in Wroclaw, President Viktor
Yushchenko took part in the trilateral meeting with President Lech Kaczynski of
Poland and Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek of the Czech Republic.
At the
meeting sides discussed trilateral cooperation in energy security, and European
integration of Ukraine, president's press office reported.
Particularly,
President Yushchenko was to suggest uniting efforts of Ukraine, Poland and the
Czech Republic aimed at practical realization of Euro-Asian oil transport corridor
on the basis of Ukraine's Odesa-Brody pipeline, propose holding a target
meeting in March between European Commission representatives, Presidents of
Azerbaijan, Georgia, Lithuania and Ukraine on realization of Euro-Asian oil transport
corridor, affirm Ukraine's readiness to join the Agreement on European energy
community, etc.
