Tymoshenko proposes to attract powerful world building companies to back national builders

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko proposes to draw most powerful building companies of the world to support national building branch. She announced during her meeting with heads of regional state administrations and their deputies while considering the issues of support of the building area.

Yulia Tymoshenko stressed, the Gov’t can give state guarantees under investments into building branch to the tune of UAH 37 bn, which the Government possesses on its assets.

According to Yulia Tymoshenko, Ukraine is concerned in drawing the best and most powerful world building companies for realization of joint projects in Ukraine. “The companies that have a desire and want to come to Ukraine to build something, can come with their foreign bank,” Yulia Tymoshenko urged.

The PM emphasized nowadays for the commercial banks it appears almost impossible to receive loans on foreign currency markets: “this is an unpromising matter but you can try to receive loans on the world markets for the same commercial banks, but under the Government’s guarantees, only for purposeful use of this money - to support building branch, it proves possible”.
