Moldova expresses gratitude for resolving the gas dispute

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko talked with Prime Minister of Moldova Zinaida Grecianii on the telephone.

The Premier of Moldova expressed gratitude to the Government of Ukraine for the “key role” in resolving the gas dispute and resuming the gas supply to Moldova.

She thanked the Ukrainian Prime Minister for essential help and assistance to Moldova at the most important moment of the crisis.

Zinaida Grecianii has highly estimated the contracts signed between Ukraine and Russia for the supply and transit of gas.

She also informed that average annual price for Russian gas for Moldova in 2009 would amount 280 dollars per one thousand cubic meters.
