Mirek Topolanek highly evaluates actions of Ukraine's Government in settlement of gas dispute

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko held a telephone talk with Mirek Topolánek, Prime Minister of Czech Republic, presiding in the EU.

Topolánek thanked Prime Minister of Ukraine for the responsible and pragmatic position during the gas crisis and crucial efforts directed to solving the issue with shipment of the Russian natural gas to the states of Europe.

“This is our joint success – the success of Ukraine and the European Union alike,” Mirek Topolánek stressed.

Premier of Czech republic also highly estimated the gas agreements signed between Ukraine and Russia.

Yulia Tymoshenko expressed her gratitude for the high evaluation of the stance and actions of the Government of Ukraine in the issue of gas row settlement. She underlined devotion of

Ukraine

to the strategic course towards EU integration and assured her interlocutor of persistency of the actions of the Government of Ukraine to follow this way, consecutively, step by step.
