Tymoshenko: Government of Ukraine has put an end to corruption schemes


Ukraine and Russia, having rejected mediators in gas issues, have put an end to any corruption schemes in the gas sector. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymosheko told a press conference, goverment portal reported.  

Yulia Tymoshenko reminded that contracts of gas supplies, signed between the NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine and RAO Gazprom are direct and exclude the participation of mediators. “The Government’s object – to stop the work of shadow mediators in the gas market, UkrGazEnergo and RosUkrEnergo – has been achieved. Corruption has been completely reduced from the gas sector,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine stated.
