Yushchenko says Maydan is his biggest pride



President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko says that the Orange Revolution is his biggest political pride.

Viktor Yushchenko said this in an interview with Channel 5, President`s press-office reported.

"For the rest of my life I will remember it as my biggest political pride, I'm proud that it happened in Ukraine, and I was a part of it", the President said.

Victor Yushchenko assessed that-time developments as a revolution of the political conscience of Ukrainian nation and the appearance of national dignity.

President also said that those events were a revolution of political consciousness of Ukrainian nation and an exhibit of national dignity.

"The most important is that the Orange Revolution and Maydan of the year 2004 brought us self-esteem. The truth is that Maydan gave us freedom", Viktor Yushchenko said.
