On Thursday, members of the Ukrainian  parliament will try again to elect the Verkhovna Rada Speaker.

The candidacies of Volodymyr Lytvyn (the Lytvyn’s Bloc), Oleksander Lavrynovych (the Party of Regions), Ivan Pliushch (the Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense Bloc), Adam Martyniuk (the Communist Party), are considered for this post.
