Parliament may resume operation on Thursday

The parliament does not have any agreed candidacy supported by the majority of MPs for the post of Verkhovna Rada Speaker.

Party of Regions faction deputy head Oleksander Yefremov told journalists on Tuesday.

According to him, a break for consultations will be announced in the parliament after factions' representatives will deliver their speeches.

At the same time, Yefremov does not rule out that the session will be postponed till Thursday, Nov 20, if any candidacy of Speaker is not agreed during the break.
