Yushchenko congratulated the President of the Republic of Maldives

The president of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko congratulated Maldivian President Mohammed Nasheed with election to the position of the President of the Republic of Maldives.

As press-service of President of Ukraine reports , V.Yuschenko noted: "I am sure that Ukraine and Maldives have considerable potential for development of mutually beneficial collaboration in different areas for the good of people of our countries".

"I wish you a good health, inexhaustible energy and successes in Your responsible government activity, and to the friendly people of Republic Maldives I wish peace, consent and prosperity", - V.Yuschenko told.
