BYuT decided to run for parliament

The Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko decided to run for parliament at the early elections. BYuT deputy Oleh Lyashko told journalists Friday.

“We are taking part in the elections. We consider the presidential decree illegal, but nevertheless we are running for the parliament. All HQs will start working on Monday,” Lyashko said.

Earlier BYuT member Andriy Portnov told that the parliamentary elections would take place only when BYuT decided.

“The parliament elections will happen only when BYuT wants. Until BYuT decides I think it would be hardly possible to hold these elections,” Portnov said.

Official election campaign for the early parliamentary elections starts October 11, 2008.
