CPU leader: Emergency Control Minister must be imprisoned

The leader of the CPU Petro Symonenko considers that the Emergency Minister Volodymyr Shandra should be not only dismissed but also it is necessary to institute legal proceedings against him.

He said that today to the journalists.

"I consider that Shandra must be not only dismissed but it is necessary to institute legal proceedings against him," Symonenko said.

Symonenko noted that the Emergency Minister is guilty of absence of the bad weather forecast that led to natural disaster.

"The Minister left the country without definite decisions and actions, in such a way he is accountable for this tragedy," he said.

In turn Shandra considers such statement of Symonenko is nothing more than emotional statement.
