President worries about Crimea


Ukraine must do everything in order nobody has doubts concerning territorial belonging of Crimea to our State. President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko stated at today’s sitting of the National Security and Defense Council.

The President has noted that Crimea is a special territory, around which very sharp political speculations arise.

“I would like to say that Crimea is a crossroad of geostrategical interests…. Our task and our national interest are to make this territory stable and prosperous,” Yushchenko noted.

He called to analyze ways of solution of problems in Crimea, including land relations, and to discuss question on control strengthening for non-fulfillment of NSDC decisions.
