President wrote letter to PM

President Viktor Yushchenko wrote a letter to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko drawing her attention to criticalness of the situation at grain and seed-oil markets. According to him main cause for that is excessive administrative regulation of the abovementioned markets. President's press office reports.

“Under threat is stable industrial processing of 2008 harvest as 13 factories of seed-oil industry have seized working with tens of thousands of workers forced to go on leave. The stockpiled leftovers of the produced goods notably exceed necessity at the internal market before the beginning of the new marketing year,” Viktor Yushchenko wrote in his letter. Therefore according to him, the Government should cancel limitations on grain and seed-oil exports as well as to initiate an active dialogue with agricultural goods producers.
