Yushchenko: Luzhkov humiliated Ukrainian nation

President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko assures that measures will be taken in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine for all those who speak disdainfully of Ukraine’s integrity. He stated, commenting on recent statement of Moscow Mayor Yuriy Luzhkov about Sevastopol belonging.

“I want Ukrainian nation to understand that this is a humiliation for it. We must have self-sufficiency. If we receive guest in our house – he must respect interests of this State, interests of these people, and it doesn’t matter what nationality they have,” Yushchenko said.

“When you enter somebody’s house – tell owner a compliment. And you will be appreciated for one more time. And vice versa when he says something disdainful about Ukrainian nation, Ukrainian sovereignty, about integrity of Ukrainian territory, Ukrainian borders - measures will be taken in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine for him,” the President emphasized.
