President Yushchenko honored Patriotic war victims (photo)

On the occasion of the 63^rd anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic war President Viktor Yushchenko put wreaths near the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Kyiv Park of Glory on May 9. The President's press office reports.

 

Other participants of the ceremony were Verkhovna Rada Speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Ministers of the Cabinet, deputies, state officials, veterans, etc.

 

Those present also honored war victims with a moment of silence.

 

Then President Yushchenko took part in a Victory Day parade of veterans of the Great Patriotic war along Khreshchatyk Street in Kyiv.
