Tymoshenko congratulated Putin


On May 8 the State Duma of the Russian Federation approved the candidacy of former Russian President Putin for a position of the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko congratulated Vladimir Putin on his new appointment.

As the press service of the Cabinet’s Secretariat reports, Tymoshenko considers that appointment of Putin for the position of the head of the Russian government will promote growth of economic potential of Russia and improvement of citizens.

In the congratulatory telegram Tymoshenko expressed assurance that the dialog between the governments of Ukraine and Russia will receive additional impulse that will promote revival of cooperation between both countries in all current questions.

The PM of Ukraine confirmed readiness of Ukrainian government to strengthen bilateral cooperation and consolidation of positive tendencies in the relations of Ukraine and Russia.
