Medvedko exculpated Tsushko


Prosecutor General of Ukraine Olexander Medvedko took a decision to cancel the resolution on making former Interior Minister, Vasyl Tsushko answerable for the violation of the intake procedure, foreseen by the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Medvedko stated at a briefing, commenting on statements of Tsushko’s lawyers that their client is a witness of the case on capture of the Prosecutor’s General Office building.

Earlier, on April 24 the lawyers of Tsushko rejected statement of deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Renat Kuzmin of April 16 that the investigator of the Prosecutor’s General Office made Tsushko answerable for the case on capture of the Prosecutor’s General Office building on May, 2007. According to the lawyers, Tsushko is a witness of this case.
