Ukrainian Foreign Ministry involved in organization of Europe Day celebrations

Twenty-four member states of the European Union, three EU candidate countries, Ukraine and the European Commission will be represented during celebrations of Europe Day in Kyiv, Head of the Delegation of the European Commission to Ukraine Ian Boag said during a meeting with Kyiv Mayor Leonid Chernovetsky. Cabinet's press office reports.

Boag said that camps for political debates, a "European camp" would be put up and a rock concert would be organized during Europe Day celebrations in Kyiv on May 11.

This year's celebration of Europe Day has been organized by the European Commission and the Ukrainian authorities, in particular, the Foreign Ministry. Celebrations were earlier organized only by the European Commission.
