President suggests building airport in Uzyn


President Viktor Yushchenko wrote a letter today to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko with a suggestion to examine together with Kyiv State Administration the possibility of building a new airport near Kyiv. President's press office reports.

Establishment of international passenger and cargo airport at the site of Uzyn depot aerodrome complex had been suggested by Kyiv region leadership earlier.

The Government is to inform President Yushchenko on the decision adopted before June 15.
