All-Ukraine Intelligentsia Forum is open in Kyiv

The All-Ukraine Intelligentsia Forum is open in Kyiv with participation of President Viktor Yushchenko, Speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk, MPs, representatives of the executive branch and NGOs.

 

The 1,200 delegates from across Ukraine as well as representatives of the Ukrainian communities in Kazakhstan, Russia, Spain, Azerbaijan, Georgia and other countries are planning to discuss the Draft Concept of the Humanitarian Development of Ukraine.

 

Among its priorities are achievement of a new quality of life, creation of a knowledge-based society, support for the civic activities and development of civil society as well as cultural and political consolidation of Ukrainians as a European nation. Cabinet's press office reports.
