PR promises Ukrainians language parity


Party of Regions will work at provision of rights of Ukrainians, foreseen by the Constitution, despite what languages they are speaking. People’s deputy from Party of Regions Olexander Lavrynovych said that today, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

According to him, introduction of Russian language as the second state language is possible only by means of changes of the Constitution made by 300 People’s deputies in the parliament who have such intention. “As to provision of rights to Russian speaking Ukrainians and those who consider Russian their native language, Party of regions have already prepared a range of draft bills and submit them to the parliament for consideration,” he said.
