Yushchenko to leave for NATO summit on April 1


President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko will leave for NATO summit in Bucharest on April in the evening. Iryna Vannikova, the press-secretary of the President, informs.

She has reminded that on the eve of Yushchenko’s visit to Bucharest the State visit of US President George Bush to Ukraine is planned. According to Vannikova, now the preparation for this visit is being carried out.

Besides, during the Ukrainian-Russian negotiations it is planned to discuss the questions on Ukraine’s joining the NATO Membership Action Plan on the eve of the summit in Bucharest.
