Lutsenko is ready to be a candidate for the post of Kyiv mayor

Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko is ready to be a candidate for the post of Kyiv mayor at the early elections, if he is nominated as the single candidate from the democratic forces. He stated on the TV channel ICTV.

“I will not deny that I had and still have ambitious to head the capital of Ukraine. But nevertheless, I will take such decision only if there is a support of my candidacy from the side of partners on the democratic coalition,” Lutsenko emphasized.

The Minister also considers that the democratic forces must hold consultations concerning single candidacy to the post of the Kyiv mayor, as well as with “the leader of the democratic forces, the President of Ukraine”.
