The agreement between NJSC “Naftohaz of Ukraine” and “Gazprom” Jsc., signed on the eve, will come into force after the Cabinet of Minister of Ukraine approves it. Representative of the NJSC “Naftohaz of Ukraine” Oleh Dubina stated at the joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko.
“The agreement will come into force after the government approves it, and then we will inform “Gazprom”,” he said.
In her turn, Tymoshenko has added that on March 19 at the sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers the first question will be the agreement between NJSC “Naftohaz of Ukraine” and “Gazprom” Jsc.
As a reminder, on March 13 during the negotiations in Moscow on Wednesday the leadership of NJSC “Naftohaz” and “Gazprom” Jsc. Signed the joint approved decision concerning removal from the gas market of Ukraine the “UkrGazEnergo” company.
Besides, the sides have come to an agreement that there is no need of formation of new mediatory structures for the cooperation.
NJSC “Naftohaz of Ukraine” will get customs clearance itself and realize Central Middle Asia gas on the territory of Ukraine.
Also, there was taken another decision by the sides: during 2008 gas price for Ukraine will not exceed USD 179,5 per one thousand cubic meters.
