EU waits for fulfillment of gas agreements between Ukraine and Russia

EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana states that for the European Union it is very important not only signing of the agreement, but also fulfillment of gas agreements between NJSC “Naftohaz and “Gazprom” Jsc. Solana told journalists on Thursday in Brussels after the meeting with Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko.

“For us it is important this agreement to be implemented, but not only signed,” he said.

Solana also noted that it was very important for the European Union to know that Ukraine and “Gazprom” agreed on solution of gas conflict.
