The BYuT faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine calls upon colleagues from the democratic coalition to support the decision of the government on the necessity of urgent discharge of Leonid Chernovetsky from the post of the Kyiv City State Administration chairman. It is also noted in the statement that the BYuT faction “supports the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 12 on the necessity of urgent discharge of Chernovetsky from the position of the Kyiv City State Administration chairman and insists on consideration of early elections of the chairman of the capital and the city council of Kyiv at the next VRU sitting, on March 18”.
“The governing of Chernovetsky in Kyiv turned out to be unseen corruption, squandering of State and municipal property, misuses and as a result, liquidation of a notion of the administrative ethics,” the statement says.
Also, the BYuT reminds: “During the parliamentary elections all parties of the democratic coalition have promised to remove mayor Chernovetsky from his post. Today the factions of the democratic coalition have the majority in the VRU. It is necessary to learn to keep promises, given to peoples of Ukraine”.
