Prosecutor’s General Office sends case of Rudkovsky to court


Prosecutor General Olexander Medvedko claims that the case of the former Transport Minister Mykola Rudkovsky will be sent to the court in near future. He stated on Tuesday at a briefing in the President’s Secretariat.

Medvedko reminded that the Rudkovsky's lawyers had finished the acquaintance with the criminal case.

“I think that in near future we will send his case to the court,” Medvedko said.

As earlier reported, the Prosecutor’s office of Kyiv instituted the proceeding against Rudkovsky for spending of state property in big amounts during his personal trip to Paris.

On February 11 the Pechersk court of Kyiv took a decision to detain Rudkovsky. On February 18 Rudkovsky was released  with cognizance not to leave.
